Kong comes across as shy and timid at first, but with lots of love and patience he will show his true personality. He loves a good pat and scratch, and is quick to tell you that you missed a pat when walking by with a gentle paw swat. He can be a bit spicy if you are not quick enough to catch his ques (i.e I don't want pats anymore). However, he is learning that claws don't make friends and a gentle paw is received much better. He loves a bed or couch cuddle, and enjoys being held. He would love to be adopted with one of his sisters as he is very close with them, or if that is not an option a household where he is the only cat might be best for him. He does ok around young kids as long as they listen to his body language. A household of only adults or adults and older children would be best for him. He is not tested with dogs.
Vinny is a sweet little lady, who loves a gentle cuddle or pat and enjoys being held. She loves to play with toys with both her sibling kitties and foster humans. Her favorite human in her foster home is an 8 year old, so would do well in a home with young children. In a perfect world she would be adopted with one of her siblings, however, she could do well on her own or potentially in a house with other cats. She is not tested with dogs.

Dot is an affectionate cuddle bug who loves to be held, patted and receive the occasional belly rub. She is your typical lap kitty who enjoys spending time next to you or on your lap making biscuits. She loves to play with toys with both her sibling kitties and foster humans. She loves her siblings and would do well being adopted with one of them. However, she would also be ok as an only cat or being introduced into a household with other cats. She loves all humans big and small, and would be fine being adopted into a house with young kids
Slinky is the most shy and timid of the sibling bunch. However, with time she will open up and show you her perfect little quirky self. And trust me the wait will be worth it! She is very curious and at first will be your peripheral panther kitty enjoying the company of the household from a distance. With time she will begin demanding attention with the cutest little head bumps accompanied by squeeky noises. One of her other quirks is that her preferred way of drinking water is by scooping it with her paw! She loves a couch cuddle and even occasionally being held. She is often found playing with a ball or toy with her siblings or on her own, or sleeping under a blanket. She does love her siblings, giving her lots of affection and comfort, in a perfect world she would be adopted with one of them. She would be ok with children over 5 who respect her boundaries.

Dot is the most independent and adventurous of her siblings; always keen to check out the next new thing! But she always returns for snuggles when she’s through.
Frankie has had a rough go with her health in her young life, but don’t worry, this little champ is one tough girl and she doesn’t let that stop her from living her best life! By far the most rambunctious of her siblings, Frankie sometimes needs to be reminded to take a nap!

As her name implies, Peach is one sweet pup. Shy and reserved, Peach prefers to spend time snuggling with her people rather than exploring the scary world out there. Lazy afternoon naps in the sun are her favourite pastime.

Shaq is a Mastiff/Bully mix and is a loveable, laid back guy He has huge paws and is going to be a big boy! He is happy to lay out in the sun, or cuddle in your arms!
A sensitive situation we're dealing with currently. Likely an intake of at least 5 puppies born 18 May 24. Border Collie Springer Spaniel Crosses. Likely to reach the 35 pound range. 3 currently in care. 2 girls we've named Sprite and Squirt. 1 boy we've named Scout. Infested with fleas and worms. All 3 have wonderful temperaments

DOGS AND PUPPIES AND KITTENS-OH MY!
Since 2021 we have been called upon to help cats and kittens as well. We've rescued many kittens, as well as a few adult cats, and helped them to find their forever homes. We are committed to assist in spaying the moms of these kittens, and to be part of the solution to reduce the unloved cat population. This last year we vetted and spayed/neutered 5 feral cats who have moved on to be barn cats and found homes for numerous abandonded kittens.
